I suggest including points that your company focuses on most. For example, if you offer a very quick service, talk about that. But remember, do not tell them how long it will take in the analysis (i will get into why later).

Site Speed

This is an important feature of not only search engine optimisation, but also conversion and ease of use. Customers (as we all know) are very impatient nowadays and if your website does not load quickly, you are at risk of losing your visitor. Not only does your website need to load quickly when someone browses to it directly or through a search engine, it also needs to be quick on the internal side. Your images should load instantaneously; this applies to your videos too. The menu needs to be responsive and any widgets need to be ready for use as soon as the visitor finds them. If you are linking to any websites or SEO blogs, make sure those links also load quickly.

This is something you need to include and your explanation can be very brief. It may be a good idea to include a screenshot of the website passing or failing the mobile-friendly test. You can test your website directly from Google by typing ‘Google mobile-friendly test’ into Google who has integrated a field into the search results allowing you to run a test directly from the SERP!

Search Engine Optimisation Metrics

Metrics are important because they physically show a number. This is very important to your client because most of SEO cannot be measured in any ‘sure’ way. Apart from looking at rankings, you cannot really measure what Google and other major search engines think about your website. Hence why it can be very difficult to get your point across to your potential client; as they will think you have no ‘proof’ of what you are talking about.

Keywords and Traffic

Don’t propose new keywords here! This section is to show them what they are already doing but more so what they are missing out on. Do a little bit of keyword research and give them some figures of the amount of traffic they are currently missing out on. Make sure you scare your client enough to make them chase you. Use phrases like ‘without me, your competitors will continue to steal your customers’ etc. Show them the potential they have online and paint a picture of what things would be like if they had achieved top rankings. Semrush is a good tool to analyse traffic. Once you have secured the client, you will get access to their analytics, which is more accurate but for an analysis, Semrush will do the job.
